Apple Network Maintenance: July 24
The telecommunication closet clean up work will conclude with the Apple Technology Resource Center. The wired and wireless networks in Apple will be unavailable during business hours on Monday July 24 from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EDT.
VLab Upgrade: July 26
An upgrade of VLab is scheduled for Wednesday July 26 from 5:00 AM to 7:30 AM EDT. This is a routine upgrade in preparation for the new academic year. VLab will be unavailable during the upgrade process.
Used Computer Sale: August 2, 3, 4
Used Windows and Macintosh computers will be available for sale at discounted prices on August 2, 3 and 4. The hours of the sale are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM EDT each day in Apple 119. All computers are sold as-is. Additional details will follow.
Phone System VOIP Software Upgrade: August 4
The phone system VOIP (Voice Over IP) software will be upgraded on Friday August 4 from 6:00-10:00 PM EDT. The phone system will be unavailable during this time period. This is a routine upgrade to increase performance and reliability, and resolve minor bugs in the software. The upgrade will not impact the look and functionality of the office phone displays. The upgrade will provide some minor improvements to the phone system web interface.
