OneVoice Ensemble Weekend Tour to Westerville!
Monday, March 22nd, 2010Making my way to the van, I was very excited and sad at the fact that this trip to Columbus would be our last OneVoice ensemble tour of the year. As we joked and laughed all the way to Columbus, we finally reached Heritage Christian Church, the home church of OneVoice’s own Tyler Scott. Here, we would sing for 4 services over 2 days. Though it turned out to be a tiring task, I would not have wanted to miss the opportunity to get tired out, by praising and uplifting the name of Jesus with my fellow OneVoice members.
After leading the church in worship, we listened as the Missionary Pastor gave a sermon about the woman at the well, and the concept of Jesus giving the Living Water. While listening to this, ideas bounced around in my mind and I found it amazing to think of the idea of water. Without water we cannot live, it is one of the biggest sources of our being, but Jesus offers the Samaritan… Offers us the true Living Water that gives us LIFE after life!
After we finished our last service on Sunday, we went to Tyler’s house for some chili. We talked about how far we have come as an choir, ensemble, and band, and it was humbling to see how God has worked in OneVoice, as well as our individual lives. As I looked back at all that God has done for OneVoice, I can make no other conclusion than to say, GOD IS GOOD!
