Shaping Christ-Centered Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n

After nearly four decades in banking \u2014 culminating in a role leading over 7,000 employees across 1,000 Huntington Bank branches\u2014Jon Greenwood knows a thing or two about leadership. He didn\u2019t just climb the corporate ladder; he built the culture beneath it, rooted in trust, consistency, and hard work. A self-proclaimed \u201coverachiever,\u201d Jon thrived by showing up, outworking everyone around him, and staying grounded in who he was in Christ.<\/p>\n

Now, he\u2019s bringing that lifetime of experience back to where it all started \u2014 Cedarville University.<\/p>\n

Jon\u2019s path to Cedarville wasn\u2019t exactly planned. As a high school senior in Springfield, Ohio, he was bound for Taylor University \u2014 just like many of his family members. But through a series of unexpected twists, including a last-minute golf tournament and his pastor father\u2019s connection to Cedarville University, he became a Yellow Jacket. \u00a0That seemingly small pivot shaped everything that followed \u2014 from his marriage to his professional life \u2014 and taught him to trust God’s guidance, even when it didn\u2019t make sense.<\/p>\n

That trust became the foundation of Jon\u2019s leadership style. Throughout his banking career, he focused on building cultures where people could thrive, trust mattered more than titles, and integrity trumped efficiency. Even to this day, he believes \u201cculture eats strategy for lunch.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, Jon is pouring that wisdom into CU Lead, Cedarville\u2019s new leadership initiative. It\u2019s more than a program \u2014 it\u2019s a movement. CU Lead will help college students and business leaders discover how God wired them. It reaches across disciplines \u2014 welcoming pastors, pharmacists, engineers, and teachers alike \u2014 because every field needs leaders who are anchored in character.<\/p>\n

CU Lead also opens doors to the marketplace through conferences, a speakers series, and practical partnerships with businesses. The goal? To produce graduates who are not only professionally competent but spiritually grounded \u2014 leaders who can be trusted with influence.<\/p>\n

Jon Greenwood\u2019s story is a testament to what God can do with a life fully surrendered. And now, he\u2019s helping others write their own stories \u2014 starting with who they are in Christ.
