Making Music for Nearly 50 Years<\/b><\/p>\n
Lyle and Connie Anderson are an amazing couple, and the way they\u2019ve made music at Cedarville University has made an eternal difference in the lives of hundreds of students.<\/span><\/p>\n Dr. Lyle Anderson, Senior Professor of Music, and his wife, Connie, Assistant Professor of Piano Pedagogy and Director of the Keyboard Pedagogy Program, have a combined 97 years teaching at Cedarville. They celebrated their 49<\/span>th<\/span> wedding anniversary this summer.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cCedarville is where we met, and both of us are alumni,\u201d Lyle said in an interview this fall. \u201cWe thank God for how He orchestrated all of that, that we have been able to serve arm in arm.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Serving on mission together in the United States and around the world has been part of their amazing legacy, starting with a family missions trip to Australia in 1982 when their children, Lori and Eric, were 6 and 8 years old respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n Lyle and Connie plan to keep on teaching. \u201cConnie and I are blessed with good health and want to go as long as the Lord confirms we should,\u201d Lyle said. \u201cIt\u2019s been an overwhelming blessing to be able to prepare students to integrate their faith through this medium of music.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
