This past May, five more students graduated with a CU geology degree. Their projects included correlation of Cincinnatian rock strata, petrographic analysis of the Oriskany Sandstone, groundwater study and well analysis around Cedarville and study of the exceptional Allosaurus skull housed at the creation museum.

Our students and graduates continue to receive top scores at their respective field camps, thrive in both secular and Christian graduate schools and land quality jobs at various colleges, geological and environmental firms. Our graduates have published a number of research papers in leading geological journals and books. Despite the youthfulness of our program, two of our graduates now have PhD’s and a third one will soon join those ranks.

Our graduates are well-rounded geologists who have sound biblical training, a variety of field experiences, are exceptional critical thinkers and are young men and women of exceptional character. They are capable of using GIS and other types of geological software. Our students are not only trained how to do research, but also how to write about it and present it well.
