Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. (James 1:2-3)
Students have settled into the new semester and are now back to familiar routines. We’re praying that our campus community stays healthy and safe during the very cold temperatures anticipated this weekend. Stay warm, Cedarville!
Today’s updates include:
- COVID-19 vaccine town hall next week
- Friendly reminder for spectators from our student-athletes
- Volunteering to help with Caring Well Meals
- Class of 2021 graduation registration — important deadline!
COVID Town Hall – Cedarville University invites you to a virtual town hall on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, from 3-4 p.m. — “COVID-19: Understanding the Virus and the Vaccine.” You’ll hear the latest information on COVID-19 and the vaccine from guests Dr. Zach Jenkins, Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice and an infectious disease expert, and Dr. Misti Grimson, family physician and Medical Director for Cedarville’s developing Physician Assistant program. Access the town hall from the website or Facebook Live.
Reminder for Athletics Spectators – If you plan to attend any athletic events this semester, here is a friendly reminder from a few of our student-athletes.
Caring Well Meals – Please consider volunteering to deliver Caring Well Meals to quarantined or isolated students. When you sign up, select the days and meals you are available to help. This is a great way to show love and care for our students during a difficult time.
Graduation Registration and Regalia – Class of 2021, it’s time to register for graduation and order your regalia! All members of the class of 2021 should complete the Graduation Registration, even if you do not plan to walk in commencement. The deadline to submit the form is February 19.
