We're down to our final two weeks of the semester. The Lord has been so gracious and faithful, and we praise Him! Like much of the U.S., we are seeing an increase in COVID cases in Ohio, as well as an uptick on our campus. While we're all weary of the reminders, please remain vigilant to wear your masks and maintain 6-feet distance from others. Students, we are praying for you as you complete end-of-term projects and prepare for exams. Pray that we remain healthy and finish well. This week's update includes following the example of Timothy; what happens if you have to quarantine or isolate NOW?; state travel restrictions; COVID-19 vaccine online presentation; virtual class ring event (TODAY!); blood drive; Veterans Day chapel; why is a flu shot important?; flu shot Fridays continue; spring semester billing information; and COVID reporting and sending iCare notes.
As we began this week in Cedarville with much-needed rain, we are continuing to trust in the Lord for His strength as we navigate this fall semester. We are grateful for His protection and for the perseverance of our students, faculty, and staff. Most importantly, we are thankful for the hope of the Gospel and the privilege of educating students for the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ, even in the midst of a pandemic! This week's update includes Christ's example of humility and service, chapel attendance groups, flu shots from Cedar Care, clarification on mask protocols, Caring Well Meals volunteers (and a reminder about iCare encouragement notes), and COVID-19 reporting.
As we move into the second half of the semester (can you believe we're starting Week #9?!), please pray that all of us (students, faculty, and staff) maintain health and strength to finish well. God has been faithful, and we trust Him to continue to provide just what we need. This week's Caring Well update includes: Know Jesus. Know Joy. weekly message; Cedar Care flu shot clinic; Caring Well encouragement notes; chapel for commuters; upgrade to package pickup; and COVID reporting.
We have reached the halfway point of the semester, and fall has definitely come to Cedarville. We're enjoying cooler, sunny days and the beautiful changing colors of the leaves on campus. We are reminded that the One who controls the seasons is lovingly holding us in His hands. This week's update includes State of the University address which included an exciting announcement, Global Outreach spring and summer trips, sending encouragement to students, watching the fall play on demand from home, defining "close contact" when contact tracing COVID cases, revised spring invoice/payment schedule, and new location for SSC Grab+Go.

Good morning, we have passed the two-week mark of the semester and are praising the Lord for His gracious protection upon our campus community. While these first 14 days have been filled with adjustments and the need for a few quick fixes and adaptations of our plans, we have appreciated your feedback, flexibility, and patience at each turn. Thank you — students, faculty, and staff — for Caring Well as we've launched this unprecedented semester. Please continue to pray that God will grant us favor as we serve Him and care for one another. Today's weekly update includes this week in chapel, today's COVID-19 town hall, caring for students in quarantine, how COVID is affecting human behavior, what students should do if they are ill "after hours," friendly mask reminders, COVID reporting, and Getting Started sessions online.
As we enter our second week of the semester, we continue to adjust to our "new normal" as we strive to keep up with changing COVID-19 protocols. Flexibility is the name of the game this fall! We are pleased with how well our campus community is adapting and complying with the new policies. We are also grateful to the Lord for a great Fall Bible Conference, as Nathan Lino challenged us from the Beatitudes to live our lives for Christ. Today's update includes this week in chapel, improvements to dining on campus, adapting our COVID-19 protocols, Caring Well text messages, upcoming COVID-19 town hall, and a flu shot clinic at Cedar Care Village Pharmacy.
