With cooler fall weather upon us, we have moved our all-student chapels from outdoors at the North Field to inside in the Doden Field House. The location may be different, but we are enjoying the same vibrant community as we gather together. We have experienced a drop in positive COVID cases recently, and we are grateful to our campus community for their vigilance and to the Lord for His gracious protection. We have just four weeks left in the semester. Let's finish strong! We have reached the halfway point of the semester, and fall has definitely come to Cedarville. We're enjoying cooler, sunny days and the beautiful changing colors of the leaves on campus. We are reminded that the One who controls the seasons is lovingly holding us in His hands. This week's update includes State of the University address which included an exciting announcement, Global Outreach spring and summer trips, sending encouragement to students, watching the fall play on demand from home, defining "close contact" when contact tracing COVID cases, revised spring invoice/payment schedule, and new location for SSC Grab+Go.
It's Week #7! We're nearing the halfway point of fall semester! We continue to be grateful for how God is protecting and leading us through this challenging COVID season. Thanks to each of you who is praying! This week we have a full update, including State of the University address this Friday (with an exciting announcement expected), more about the new Caring Well Meals ministry, sending notes of encouragement to students in quarantine or isolation, a new Concerning COVID Q&A, campus guests visiting a class ... virtually, rapid antigen testing available, fall play — COVID style, moving the SSC Grab+Go location, cardboard canoe race, and Caring Well TNT this week.
As we start our sixth week of fall semester, it is a good time to remind us all to take personal responsibility for caring for ourselves and others as we also trust the Lord to lead us through this challenging time. As we enter our second week of the semester, we continue to adjust to our "new normal" as we strive to keep up with changing COVID-19 protocols. Flexibility is the name of the game this fall! We are pleased with how well our campus community is adapting and complying with the new policies. We are also grateful to the Lord for a great Fall Bible Conference, as Nathan Lino challenged us from the Beatitudes to live our lives for Christ.
