Upcoming Dental Enrollment

The 2013 voluntary dental insurance plan through Superior Dental will open for enrollment on Monday, October 8, 2012. The open enrollment period will continue through 12 o’clock noon on Thursday, October 25, 2012.

Overview of 2013 Coverage

  • Preventative             100%
  • Basic                               50%
  • Major                             50%                                                    

The coverage for Basic services will change from 80% to 50% in 2013. This is the only change to the plan. Full details of the Dental Plan can be reviewed at the following link:

As a result of this change, the reduced 2013 premiums will be:

$25.35 – Employee

$50.49 – Employee and one dependent

$90.71 – Employee and family

Please watch for the Open Enrollment e-mail which will include the necessary instructions on how to elect dental coverage for 2013.

UHR Welcomes John Davis, Director of Academic Human Resource Services

The University is committed to providing a growing level of human resource services to our faculty and staff.  As a result, the University has made the strategic decision to combine staff and faculty human resource services which will be administered through University Human Resources.  This change became effective July 1, 2012.  John Davis joined University Human Resources in support of the academic division as the Director of Academic Human Resource Services.   John will be working with the academic division to help them achieve their strategic plan and to meet the goals of the 2020 Strategic Map as it relates to building a faculty who will enhance the national reputation of Cedarville University.

John is a Cedarville graduate, has held a variety of student and staff positions, most recently he served as Director of Public Relations.  John’s love for Cedarville, his strong interpersonal skills, and his desire to work collaboratively in support of the University’s mission position him to successfully assume this role.
