Students volunteering and participating at FBC London, OH enjoy some down time together

While spending a day together at a local church, students enjoy afternoon lunch together

Why is it that foods that are good for me usually taste less than appealing? As a little boy I was overwhelmed by the taste and texture of okra. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with okra, its just that I would associate other things with that texture. It was much better for me once I found out that okra could be fried. Still, I don’t see many okra burgers stands or soft serve okra trucks. The absence of okra in the mainstream might lead a person to believe that things like okra, although good for you are not in vogue anymore. There is another thing that is really good for you that could be missing from your life-fellowship! Webster defines fellowship in its simplest form as;

friendly association, especially with people who share one’s interests.

Fellowship is good for you! It helps you enjoy the others God has placed on this planet. Fellowship helps you to feel what it is like to belong. and most of all fellowship is not slimy like Okra! Fry up some fellowship time with those around you this week!
