Rev. Parker likes life simple. Love God. Live for Jesus. Make an impact with your life! He has done just that! From his time in the military, to his pioneering efforts at Cedarville “College”, having a marriage worth modeling and decades planting, shepherding and growing churches. Now in his 80’s Rev. Parker continues to impact his world for Christ by leading a weekly Bible study group. In 2002 I had the pleasure of serving on a cultural outreach committee at Cedarville with Rev. Parker. He is a man of well chosen, wise words. I can still recall his observations and encouragement from those days together. At this year’s graduation ceremony, this Cedarville graduate returns to receive an honorary doctorate from Cedarville University! This soldier models a life well lived. On Friday, May 6th, Rev. Parker will be on campus to spend some time fellowshipping with faculty staff and students. Ceremony occurs on Saturday, May 7th. Keep your eye open for him on campus and if you are blessed enough  to talk with him you’ll experience what it feels like to be encouraged for sure! Thankful for his example of “how to do life.”
