Stop by and see our latest book display “Immigration and Injustice”. Rebekkah Reisner, who is interning with the Library this semester, gives some background on the display:
“I picked it after listening to a friend give an account of providing healthcare to an illegal immigrant who is being deported. He has two children; his daughter is a nurse and his son is chemist. His son makes 5,000 pesos a month, which is $400 in the US. Politics forgets the important human part of the equation. I hope to remind people about that aspect with the display. And I hope discussion comes up too!!”
