Our Super September Showcase begins with a spotlight on the MediaPLEX, located on the lower level of the Centennial Library. We asked Lori Myers, MediaPLEX Coordinator, to tell us more.
Give us a one- or two-sentence description of the MediaPLEX
The MediaPLEX encompasses an easygoing environment while providing people the opportunity to come and use the numerous resources available to work on projects, receive printing services, purchase supplies, or check out equipment. We have been told that the MediaPLEX is a place where you can come and only have an idea, yet leave with a wonderful masterpiece.
What is one resource at the MediaPLEX that you think all students would benefit from?
This is a tricky question because everyone has their favorite…

We have equipment for academic use (video & still cameras, voice recorders, microphones and tripods)
What do you enjoy most about working in the MediaPLEX?
Everyday is different. I learn new things daily because everyone who walks through the door has a different goal. I love helping all of the patrons and watching their ideas turn into a finished project!
