A Finals Week Survival Guide from the Library

It’s that infamous time of year again….students study at all hours of the day and night, the coffee flows freely, and study groups abound as everyone works hard to finish the semester well.  We at Centennial Library want to do all we can to make your finals week successful and stress-free!

Here are a few ways the Library can help you conquer finals week:

  • Destress at Lounge at the Library. The best part of finals week at the Library!  Come to our study break event on Tuesday May 3rd for snacks, drinks, and fun activities like coloring and games.  We have a prize raffle, too.  Take a quick break or stay for hours – the event runs from 8pm to 11pm in Room 27 on the library’s lower level.
  • Have a quiet place to study. Want get outside your dorm room but need a space to study that’s away from the hustle and bustle? Come to the library to focus and get loads of work done!
  • Book a group study room. Does it seem like nearly every nook and cranny on campus is filled with someone studying? Reserve a library study room online for a great spot to finish a group project or study with friends.
  • Get research help. Need some last minute help for a research paper or project? Stop by the Research Center to work with a librarian or send us message via Chat. If you need in-depth help, you can even book a Research Appointment.
  • Polish your projects. Want to put last-minute finishing touches on a project? Visit the MediaPLEX to print off posters and papers professionally. You can even bind your notes from the semester and laminate stuff!

Whatever your finals week needs are, the Library has you covered!
