This is an excerpt from a Global Outreach member highlighting their trip to Guatemala in 2017. There are many differences in religion across cultures, but one things is certain — everybody wants to do their part in praising God and spreading His message.
Today we had the opportunity to attend Calvary Chapel, a missionary church, in Antigua. We were able to experience a new culture and see what praising God was like in a new language! We also had the opportunity to play games, talk to missionaries, and hear their stories. We are so encouraged by everything that has happened thus far and are excited to see what God is going to do through us this week. Tomorrow we get to tour AMG Guatemala headquarters and then head to the camp where we will spend our week investing in the lives of the kids that are coming. Please be in prayer for our team as we begin to make relationships with the kids, and for language differences to not be a barrier. We cannot wait to update on Friday to share what God did throughout the week. #CUGO
