I truly can’t express how excited I am for you to get to experience being a Cedarville student. If you could take one thing away from my blogs, I hope it is how much I love Cedarville and how big of an impact it has made on my life. In honor of this, here is my freshman photo by the rock, which I encourage each of you to get. 🙂
I will be the first to share that my freshman year was hard. It was a difficult adjustment, and I struggled with several family problems. But I did not give up on Cedarville, because I saw Cedarville come beside me and love me through it all. Whether it was my professors, my RA, other campus leaders, or my friends Cedarville loved me and supported me. I am so thankful for my experience.
I can’t wait for you to get to experience dorm life. Here is a photo of me outside my freshman dorm. My favorite dorm year was my sophomore year. My RA was so intentional in my life and cared for me more than I could have ever imagined. Many other Cedarville students will share the same experience. Our dorms are matched with “brother” and “sister” units, which creates friendships that are unique and special. I had such a fun-loving bro/sis unit my sophomore year as well. You can see a picture of us all wearing flannels below!
There are so many experiences that you will have when you choose Cedarville. Your education is important, and Cedarville does that well. But Cedarville takes it further by providing you with an experience that you will always remember. I have made lifelong friends and have been forever changed. I have grown educationally as well as personally.
I can’t wait for you to develop and grow in the same way. It is so close! We are excited to meet you!
Until this fall!
