For a lot of people, it\u2019s like going to the dentist. In the hours leading up to it, your insides squirm at the thought of breaking the tempting reverie of whatever TV show you\u2019re bingeing online and plunking your derriere down in that chair. You wince on the car ride over, then walk back to your dorm room for *gulp* your chemistry textbook. But once you finally rip that Band-Aid off and get started, you realize that maybe you were being a bit of a baby after all, and before you know it, you\u2019re craving the breakfast you couldn\u2019t eat that morning.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:279}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Studying is a necessary evil. Nobody really loves it, but there\u2019s a lot you can do to make it a little easier on yourself. And one of the best hacks I have found for this at Cedarville University is finding the perfect study spot \u2014 both on campus, and off.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:279}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Here\u2019s my top three \u2014 and I\u2019m not going to take the easy route and include the Centennial Library, because every college has one of those!<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:279}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The SSC<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:279}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The Stevens Student Center is the unofficial capital of Cedarville\u2019s campus. It\u2019s the place where you pick up those care packages from Mom, get a bite to eat with your friends, stop by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cedarville.edu\/offices\/career\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Career Services<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> for a mock interview, or if you\u2019re like me, jam your laptop charger into an electrical outlet, collapse into one of the suspiciously ubiquitous comfy chairs, and get cracking on whatever assignment you\u2019ve been procrastinating on. It is one of the busier spots on campus \u2014 definitely for students who work best with some noise in the background \u2014 but once you\u2019ve been at it for an hour or two, you can get yourself a latte from <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/rinnova_coffee\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Rinnova<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. Or you can raid the candy counter at the nearby <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/store.cedarville.edu\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Campus Store<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> and chuckle maniacally as you return with a horde of Snickers bars; it\u2019s really up to you!<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:279}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Beans-n-Cream\/Orion Coffee<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:279}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">OK, you got me: I cheated, two coffee shops in one. But they\u2019re like milk and cookies \u2014 they just have to go together! Whether you need a veritable roundtable to plot your group\u2019s upcoming presentation, or you desire a seat at the balcony barstool, you won\u2019t have a problem getting comfortable there. Maybe not the best spot for a group project, but definitely for penning your next A-plus paper! Or a special coffee date with your campus crush. Wink-wink. Obviously, you\u2019re not going to want to bring your laptop there (unless you have a portable electrical outlet you\u2019ve been keeping hidden from the rest of us), and it can get a bit wet out there, but at the same time, there\u2019s nothing like quite literally getting back to nature.
