Sad because these people lack basic needs and resources that we have so readily available in the States. Joyous because I witnessed God move in amazing ways. height: 446px;\" \/> <\/a> <\/div> <\/div> <!-- close group --> <\/div> <!-- close row --> <\/div>\r\n<p>We had several different stations in the clinic:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>One for our <strong>general providers<\/strong> (nursing students, nurses, and doctors) who assessed and diagnosed them<\/li>\r\n<li>One for <strong>vision screening<\/strong>, where eyeglasses were provided to people who have never been able to see clearly<\/li>\r\n<li>A <strong>chiropractic station<\/strong>, as many of their bodies are malnourished, and their musculoskeletal systems are greatly affected<\/li>\r\n<li>A <strong>\u201cclinic of the soul\u201d<\/strong> where our patients heard the love of Jesus from the Bible<\/li>\r\n<li>And a <strong>pharmacy<\/strong> where they would receive medications they needed based on their condition.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>We gave all of the children an anti-parasite medication to keep them healthy despite poor hygiene and water quality. We provided multivitamins and over-the-counter medications that they do not have readily available. We served 651 Guatemalan people across four clinic days. We were able to provide medical care they desperately needed, medications to manage their health, and most importantly the Word of God for the health of their souls. Of those 651 people, 31 people decided to fully give their hearts to Christ in those days, and in the others, a seed of the love of Christ was planted in their hearts for God to nurture.<\/p>\r\n<div class=\"tiled-gallery type-rectangular tiled-gallery-unresized\" data-original-width=\"900\" data-carousel-extra='null' itemscope itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/ImageGallery\" > <div class=\"gallery-row\" style=\"width: 900px; We helped spread the Word of God to people who needed to know or be reminded of the love Christ has for them. My life was changed through this trip just like those of the Guatemalan people.
