The following Master of Science in Nursing graduates were recognized as part of the hooding ceremony held May 6, 2022.<\/p>\n

ADVANCED NURSING PRACTICE AWARD<\/strong><\/h3>\n

JAMES TAYLOR<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Advanced Nursing Practice Award honors a graduating student who demonstrates excellence in the clinical or practicum setting. This year\u2019s recipient demonstrates strong clinical decision making and has received high performance evaluations from preceptors and faculty in clinical courses. This student is consistently excellent in clinical and course work. Upon graduation, we are confident that this graduate will reflect practice that is both competent and compassionate.<\/p>\n

SPIRIT OF INQUIRY AWARD<\/strong><\/h3>\n

MIRIAM ROGGIO<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Spirit of Inquiry Award honors a graduating student who demonstrates excellence in the area of scholarship. Spirit of Inquiry is a persistent sense of curiosity that informs both learning and practice. A nurse infused by a spirit of inquiry will raise questions, challenge traditional and existing practices, and seek creative approaches to problem-solving. This year\u2019s recipient has shown excellence in course work and a driving sense of curiosity and determination toward excellence.<\/p>\n

This award honors a graduating student who demonstrates excellence in Christian character and influence. This year\u2019s recipient is an exemplary role model for leadership that is grounded in Biblical principles and displays Christlike character.<\/p>\n
