Dr. Murray Murdoch, Distinguished Professor of History and Government, has served at Cedarville University since 1965. He came to the University at a time of great social upheaval in American society, a time when African-American leaders, such as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., were voicing a message of love and equal opportunity for all. These themes continue to ring strong for Murdoch, who co-leads the annual Civil Rights Bus Tour during fall break. All are deserving of just and fair treatment as image bearers of God and as those for whom Jesus died.
