Inside Cedarville’s Entrepreneurial Incubator

Behind the front door of an ordinary house with forward-thinking college students, million-dollar ideas mingle with homework assignments, computers and whiteboards overflow with business strategies, and conversations about customer acquisition naturally give way to prayer. This isn’t a startup incubator in Silicon Valley — it’s the Hustle House at Cedarville University.

Here, a group of students is proving that entrepreneurship doesn’t have to be a lonely pursuit. Instead, they’re building businesses while sharpening one another’s faith, character, and leadership. Their remarkable story has sparked a movement reaching far beyond campus, and on the Cedarville Stories podcast, you’ll hear how a shared vision for Christ-centered entrepreneurship is inspiring young business leaders across the country.

Will Woods ’27, Aaron Perry ’26, Josh Hochstedler ’28, and their housemates founded the “Hustle House” to provide the encouragement entrepreneurs often miss when building alone. Living together creates daily opportunities to exchange ideas, challenge assumptions, celebrate wins, and persevere through setbacks while pursuing excellence in business, academics, and their walks with Christ.

That same culture gave birth to Entrepreneurs for Christ, a national movement equipping Generation Z entrepreneurs to build businesses that honor God by strengthening families, creating meaningful work, serving communities, and stewarding success for His glory. For this inspiring group, they believe every meaningful venture begins with people — asking questions, listening well, and having the courage to take the first step.
