Dr. Thomas White, President of Cedarville University, joined me (Dr. Whitmore) and 26 other Christian leaders from six continents and rafted the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon on a week-long whitewater adventure (July 15-22). The purpose of the trip was to learn about and discuss the merits of the Young Earth Creation model of earth history. Drs. Snelling and Whitmore taught about the geology of the Grand Canyon and Drs. Barrick and Mortenson taught about the implications of the Genesis text. The trip was sponsored by Answers in Genesis and Canyon Ministries.
