This past December I was an invited guest on an archaeological trip to Jordan and Israel hosted by the Shepherds Theological Seminary (Cary, NC) and the West Institute (Laramie, WY). Clayton Schultz of the West Institute has been with me on two raft trips in the Grand Canyon. In the coming weeks, I will be making some posts on some of the things I learned while on the trip and sharing some Scriptures and photographs that go along with some of the sites I visited. As a geologist, I was able to begin to see how the post-Flood geology of this area meshed with the archaeology. It was pretty cool to see how the details of Scripture line up with geography and archaeological dig details.
