SoftChalk Software Upgrade – Faculty
A new version of SoftChalk is now available for faculty use. Faculty may install and access the new version on-campus from the CedarNet menus as follows (Start > All Programs > _CedarNet > Server Specific > SoftChalk Lesson Builder vs7). If you have any difficulties installing the new version, please submit an online computer service request to request assistance.
Monthly CedarNet Maintenance
Information Technology will be performing monthly Windows maintenance on the servers Tuesday, February 18, beginning at 5:30 a.m. Maintenance should be completed by 7:00 a.m. During this time, you may notice a brief outage with the main web server, as well as intermittent access to the Google mail login page. For your planning purposes, future dates for scheduled Windows maintenance are March 18 and April 22, 2014.
Computer Labs closing for Spring break
The open-access computer labs (CBTS 111 and ENS 251) will close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28 for spring break. Campus Safety determines the availability of the SSC 103 computer lab according to spring break building hours. The CBTS 111 computer lab will reopen on Sunday, March 9 at 4:00 p.m. according to the academic year schedule.
