CedarPrint Errors
The following errors have occurred for some students using CedarPrint:
- “Wrong paper size” error – when trying to send a document to CedarPrint from a laptop.
- “Open Rear Door” – when printing a document at a CedarPrint printer.
- Only receiving the first or last page – when printing jobs at a CedarPrint printer.
Fix for Wrong Paper Size Error
For Windows computers:
- Open Microsoft Word, click the PAGE LAYOUT tab > locate the Page Setup group.
- Choose the Size option > choose More Paper Sizes.
- Click the Paper tab, change Paper size to “Letter” with Width 8.5″ and Height 11″.
- Click [Set As Default] > answer “Yes” to change the Normal template.
**Similar settings are available for other Office 2013 products.

Fix for Rear Door Error and Missing Pages
For Windows computers:
- Open the Printer Properties for the CedarPrint printer installed on your machine. (Go to Control Panel > Devices & Printers > right-click on the CedarPrint printer > choose “Printer Preferences”.)
- Click “Advanced”
- At the very bottom, under the heading “Printer Features” set “Output Order” to “Face Down”.
- Click [OK] twice to close the windows.
