Wireless and Network Maintenance – Spring Break
The network team will be busy upgrading the network infrastructure and wireless over spring break. You may notice some disruptions in service during that time, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
Depending on the type of maintenance planned, service outages may range from a few minutes to a few hours. The more extensive maintenance is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. or later to have the least impact on faculty and staff.
Affected services include: wireless, CedarNet, network storage (H, J, S, T drives), Filr, and network connectivity in academic buildings.
Technology Training
Two significant software upgrades are planned for this summer. Mark your calendar now for a lunchtime TechTalk on Thursday, March 31 to learn more about the campus move to Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016. Session registration is open at cedarville.edu/techtraining.
Microsoft Office for Home Computers
Full time faculty and staff are eligible to participate in the Microsoft Home Use Program which offers the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and more) for home computers at a very reasonable price. Refer to the Tech Help pages for more information about this offer.
