Apple QuickTime Removal
Apple QuickTime is being removed from all University computers because of reported security risks. Windows media player is available on University computers and can be used instead. You may want to remove QuickTime from your personal computer as well.
El Capitan Update (University iMac Computers)
Technicians are now able to upgrade University iMac computers to the El Capitan OS. Please submit an online technology request for this service.
Office 2016 and Windows 10 – Update
The final Microsoft Office 2016 and Windows 10 classes for the semester are scheduled for next week. If interested in attending, please register at cedarville.edu/techtraining.
University Computer
You may upgrade to the new version of Office 2016 at any time from the CedarNet menu (Start > All Programs > CedarNet > Office Suites > MS Office 2016 Pro Plus Installation).
Home Computer
Office 2016 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) is available at a significant discount for Cedarville University facstaff home computers. Please view the Microsoft Home Use Program tech help page for details.
Moodle
Summer courses are loaded into Moodle, and summer student rosters were loaded mid-April. Pharmacy student rosters will be loaded July 1, and all student rosters for fall will be loaded August 1.
