Phone System VOIP Software Upgrade: August 4
The phone system VOIP (Voice Over IP) software will be upgraded on Friday August 4 from 6:00-10:00 PM EDT. The phone system will be unavailable during this time period. This is a routine upgrade to increase performance and reliability, and resolve minor bugs in the software. The upgrade will not impact the look and functionality of the office phone displays. The upgrade will provide some minor improvements to the phone system web interface.
Network Updates: August 1 – 4
The network team is updating firmware and security patches on network switches in the Library, BTS, DMC, ENS, SSC, and Tyler buildings this week in the evenings between 7:00 PM and 11:00 PM EDT. These are routine updates that are performed three times each year to keep our network switches up to date. There may be a brief loss of network connectivity (approx. 10 minutes) during this time while the switches are being updated.
CedarNet Username Change Deadline: August 12
Three times a year, we offer faculty and staff the opportunity to request a change in their CedarNet Username (login name). The deadline for requesting changes is Saturday August 12. Go to CedarNet Username Change for details.

Used Computer Sale: August 2, 3, 4

AV Equipment Sale: August 18
