The Spam email message referenced in yesterday’s Tech Alert is now being sent from cedarville.edu email addresses. The email message contains the Subject line: “CU policy infringement.”

As was communicated yesterday, This is not a legitimate email and should be deleted immediately. DO NOT click on the link contained in the body of the message. If you already clicked on the link in the message, change your password immediately by going to Cedarinfo and selecting Change your CedarNet password. We also request you to call Information Technology at 937-766-7905 to inform us of the action taken.

Information Technology strongly encourages all users to set up Duo Two-Factor Authentication to protect their Cedarville.edu email accounts and Cedarville University’s information and systems. Go to Set up and use Two-Factor Authentication for details and instructions.
