Just in time for Christmas Break travel, Cedarville University IT announces the addition of over 1 million wireless access points in over 60 countries to our network. Cedarville has joined over 500 other institutions as a participant of the eduroam wireless federation community, which means anyone with Cedarville credentials (current students, faculty, staff, and alumni) can use their Cedarville email address and CedarNet password to connect to the Wi-Fi network ‘eduroam’ on our campus and others around the world. In addition, anyone from another eduroam school can connect to the ‘eduroam’ wireless network on our campus for internet access.

The process of connecting is identical to that of cu-secure, except that you should use your full Cedarville University email address as your eduroam username. If you’re interested in how it works, please browse around on eduroam.us and https://www.eduroam.org/what-is-eduroam/.

As a reminder, you should never share your account credentials with anyone. Now when a friend from another school visits, encourage them to try eduroam if they need wireless.
