On September 23, the security certificate that secures authentication to the eduroam WiFi network will be renewed. This is a process that happens every two years when the current certificate expires.
What this means for your eduroam-connected devices…
Android Devices: No action needed. Your connection to eduroam will continue to work without any disruption.
iOS Devices (iPhone/iPad): Action needed! The first time you connect after the change, your device will display the following message: “Certificate: eduroam.cedarville.edu issued by Sectigo RSA Domain Validation Secure Server CA (Not Trusted)” as shown below. Click “Trust” in the upper right corner to continue connecting.
