Courtesy Accounts (previously known as “temporary accounts”) are used to enable people who are not current students, alumni, or employees to access Cedarville University systems, services, and information on a limited or temporary basis. Courtesy Accounts can also be used by departments, offices, or organizations as shared accounts. Faculty, staff, and authorized students can create new Courtesy Accounts in the Courtesy Account System. The following are common uses of courtesy accounts:
- Email accounts that bear the name of your department, school, or office.
- Accounts for spouses of faculty or staff who are not employed by Cedarville University.
- Accounts for vendors or contractors who need access to Cedarville systems and resources.
