October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and to kick it off, we’re diving into one of the most notorious cybersecurity topics: phishing! As phishing becomes a more common scam used to obtain personal or financial information from victims, it’s important to know how to identify an attack and avoid falling victim to it.
If you receive a suspicious email, do not click on any links or reply to it! Forward it to phishing@cedarville.edu, and IT will investigate the authenticity of the message.
