Today’s LinkedIn Learning Courses:

How the Gospel is Spread in Bangladesh:

Christianity ✝️makes up a tiny percentage of the Bangladesh population (0.6% out of 175 million) with most Bangladesh people (91%) practicing Islam. With such an overwhelming number of Muslims in Bangladesh, how is Christianity even impactful? The Gospel is spread throughout Bangladesh in several ways with possibly the most influential being Christian organizations. While there are hundreds of Christian organizations (churches, schools, and Christian run businesses) all over Bangladesh, two are highlighted here:

    • Several Cedarville students have graduated with education degrees and went on to teach at this school.

INMED (Memorial Christian Hospital) Values:

    • Compassion to all humanity
    • Excellence and integrity
    • Service and stewardship
    • Lifelong learning

Another way many come to faith in Bangladesh is through Christians who move to Bangladesh to start businesses with the intent of hiring locals. Christian employers want to build relationships with their employees and customers which creates opportunities to share the gospel and show the love of Christ.

Fun Facts about Bangladesh:

  • Bangladesh boasts one of the longest beaches🏖️ in the world. Cox Bazar Beach is a naturally occurring beach at 75 miles (120 kilometers) long and is the 5th largest beach in the world. Read more about the Cox Bazar Beach here.
  • Bangladesh is also known as the “Land of Rivers.” The county has around 700 rivers and are an integral part of Bangladeshi culture and daily life. Read about the three major river systems here.

Next Week’s Location Hint:

Make your best guess at where Paula will be next week using the clue below!

We’re headed far, across the sea,
To lands of pride and history.
Where jollof rice is served with flair,
And afrobeats fill the dancing air.

Where drummers play and voices sing,
Of warriors bold and tribal kings.
Zuma Rock stands tall and wide—
Can you guess where we’ll reside?
