This Week’s LinkedIn Learning Videos:

How the Gospel is Spread in Israel:

Since October 7, 2023, the war between Israel and Palestine has claimed over 1,200 Israeli lives and left thousands more injured. As the suffering deepens, so does the urgent need for the Gospel. In moments of deep sorrow and endless suffering, it’s imperative to remember the hope Christ offers. The Bible extends many promises of truth that the Lord God is near and will never leave; that the Lord is our God and He will uphold us (Psalm 94:14; Isaiah 41:10). As conflict continues to rage, and will continue until Christ returns, the job of Christians all over the world is to share the love, hope, and truth of Christ that brings joy and peace during tragedy.

Many Christians from all over the world have seen Israels plight and responded to the needs they have. As the war continues, many Israelis have expressed a desire to learn more about the Gospel, even to the point of requesting copies of the New Testament and responding well to those sharing the Gospel with them.  In all parts of the world, Evangelicals have stepped up to provide physical, mental, and spiritual aid to those impacted in Israel. While some express their support financially, others having been traveling to Israel to volunteer on disaster relief missions. Organizations such as Texans on Mission have been working in and supporting Israel since the conflicts began.

Hint to Next Week’s Location:

A land where gold once sparkled bright,
And history tells of ancient might.
Where the Ashanti kings once reigned,
And freedom’s song was proudly gained.

A rhythm beats through hearts so strong,
In every village, dance and song.
The kente cloth in colors bold,
Tells stories that are centuries old.
