This Week’s LinkedIn Learning Courses:

How the Gospel is Spread:

In Ghana, truck driving🚚 is a popular form of employment for many. However, truck driving is far from an easy job, and Ghanaian truck drivers face many dangers on the road, such as robbery and extortion from corrupt police. As the Christian community in Ghana has become more aware of the dangers these drivers face, missionaries have begun traveling to truck stops around Ghana to pray with the drivers.

Many Ghanaian truck drivers are Muslim, so at first, they were hesitant to receive prayer and listen to what the missionaries had to say. However, after experiencing safe travels following these moments of prayer, hearts began to open. Word spread about the drivers having safe trips after being prayed for, and hearts began to open. As the drivers continued to show interest in being prayed for, the missionaries began to share short Bible stories with them. As a result, the Gospel has begun to spread around Ghana through the truck drivers, and Ghanaian men and women are being trained to share the Gospel themselves.
