HSC Scheduled Network Maintenance: June 14 & 21
Information Technology will perform maintenance on the wired and wireless networks on the west side of the HSC this evening, June 14th from 5:00-9:00 PM EDT, and on the east side of the HSC on Wed. June 21st from 5:00-9:00 PM EDT. Network connectivity in those areas of the HSC will be down during these time periods.
Phone System VOIP Software Upgrade: June 22
Information Technology will perform an upgrade of our phone system VOIP (Voice Over IP) software on Friday, June 23rd from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM EDT. The phone system will be unavailable during this time period. This is a routine upgrade to increase performance and reliability, and resolve minor bugs in the software. The upgrade will not impact the look and functionality of the office phones. The upgrade will provide some minor improvements to the phone system web interface.
Redwood System Maintenance: June 30
Information Technology will perform system maintenance of the Redwood system on Friday, June 30th from 5:00 PM – 11:59 PM EDT. The maintenance will include security updates and an upgrade to the database. The following systems and services will be unavailable during this time period:
Cedarinfo
Informer
Colleague
Self Service
Workorder Maintenance System
Web transactions that use Colleague data
Windows 10
If you have recently had your computer replaced or upgraded to Windows 10 and are missing shortcuts, icons, or customized settings, please submit an Information Technology Request with the details. If your computer is still running Windows 7 and you would like to upgrade to Windows 10, submit an Information Technology Request to schedule your upgrade.
Used Computer Sale
Information Technology is in the process of planning the sale of used Windows and Macintosh computers at discounted prices. The tentative timing for the sale is mid-to-late July. Additional details are forthcoming.
