The Information Technology Help Desk was relocated from the Tyler 122 office suite to the TechStop area in the outside entrance on the north side of the Tyler building to provide the campus with one entry point for all IT support and services. IT Help Desk representatives are now staffed in TechStop from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. EST. Help Desk representatives continue to take calls to the Help Desk main number (937-766-7905) but are also physically located at TechStop to greet users who come to the counter requesting IT support or service. All support services that were performed at the offices in Tyler 122 are now performed at the TechStop counter.
TechStop also provides the following key services:
- Wireless and security setup
- Software and hardware diagnostics
- Software optimization
- Registering personal devices
- Data backup
- Full security cleanup
- Full system reload
- Hardware and software installation, upgrades, repair
- Replacement parts
- Warranty support
The Information Technology Help Desk and TechStop teams are united in our mission to provide excellent customer service to the Cedarville campus, which is now reflected in our consolidated IT Services/TechStop location.
