Network Backbone Maintenance
At 6 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, the Network & Infrastructure Services team will be performing maintenance on the backbone network connections that provide network access to the following buildings:
– Centennial Library
– History & Government Center
During this time, the wired and wireless networks in those buildings may experience a short 10-15 minute outage. This will affect all network access to all Cedarville University systems, as well as all online resources.
Network Firewall Maintenance
At 5:50 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, the Network & Infrastructure Services team will be replacing the primary & secondary firewalls that handle all traffic that travels between the Cedarville University network and the Internet.
This may cause a short (10-15 minute) outage, during which Internet resources will be unavailable from devices connected to on-campus wired and wireless networks. Affected resources will include Google Mail and CULearn (Canvas).
